The Rashtreeya sikshana samithi Trust (RSST) a charitable trust was founded by Sri. M.C. Shivananda Sarma, in the year 1940, when education was a privilege in the pre-independent India. The mission of the founder was to ‘Impart Quality Education to all strata of the society’. RSST manages several educational institutions from Kindergarten to Professional colleges in Bengaluru. Sri Meda Kasturi Ranga Setty, a business man & philanthropist joined hands together to pull this movement forward.

BMS College of Engineering

In the history of Karnataka, the name of late Sri Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah (BMS) occupies a prominent place in the field of philanthropy. The Maharaja of Mysore honoured him with the title of Raja Karya Prasaktha in 1946.
He Stared the B.M.S College of Engineering in the same year.He had foreseen the urgent need for high quality technical education in India even before its independence. The ideals for which Sri B.M. Sreenivasaiah stood continue to inspire the inheritors of his legacy.

MSR Institute of Technology

Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RIT), formerly M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT), is an autonomous private engineering college located in Bangalore, Karnataka and is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University headquartered at Belgaum, Karnataka, India. The college was established in 1962. Since August 2007, RIT has been academically autonomous for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs. While VTU will still award the degrees, the college has academic freedom in framing its own schemes of study, curricula and student evaluation. RIT offers undergraduate and graduate courses of study and research including Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Technology, Master of Business Administration and offers programs leading to award of PhD in various disciplines. RIT is also a research centre in 12 areas including engineering and management disciplines. RIT is the only engineering college in Bangalore that is autonomous for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

PES University

PES University (PESU), formerly PES Institute of Technology (PESIT), is a private university in Bengaluru, India. Established in 1972, it is focused on four main educational areas: Engineering, Medicine, Management and Life Sciences. The institutions offer both foundation courses in these areas, as well as specialization with a Bachelors/ Master/ PhD degree. It was upgraded to university status in 2013.
